Choate Investment Advisors has been selected by Forbes Magazine as one of its 2010 “Top 50 Fee-Only Advisors.” The Forbes “Top 50 Fee-Only Advisors” list is a ranking of the biggest, fastest growing, and most promising investment advisers in the business. Choate was also named to the Forbes “Top 50 Fee-Only Advisors” list in 2008, the last time that the magazine compiled this data.

Growth was calculated from discretionary assets under management data (as defined by the SEC) from December 31, 2007 to December 31, 2009. The advisors that are included on the list cannot charge commissions or have registered representative employees at their firms.
