Jacob Lang
Jacob Lang works with financial institutions and companies in a range of complex financial transactions, with a concentration on corporate restructurings and bankruptcies. He has experience advising financial institutions as debtor-in-possession lenders, as well as litigating on their behalf as the need arises. Jacob also advises insurance providers and other creditor-side companies throughout the bankruptcy process.
Representative Engagements
- PNC Bank, National Association as the Administrative Agent for a DIP Financing arrangement totaling $550 million provided to Big Lots, Inc. and its subsidiaries in its Chapter 11 case in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
- Represent insurers in numerous bankruptcy cases, including mass tort bankruptcy cases, throughout United States relating to collateral and premium disputes and procedures for resolving coverage disputes. Cases include: Boy Scouts of America, Endo International, plc., and Cineworld Group, plc.
- Represent debtor-in-possession and first-lien lenders and agents in connection with a number of Chapter 11 bankruptcies in various sectors. Cases include: Tuesday Morning, Core Scientific, Inc., and AeroCision Parent, LLC.
