Lanny Thorndike
Co-Chair – Wealth Management & President of ChoateIA
Lanny Thorndike is president of Choate Investment Advisors. In this role, Lanny oversees the investment strategy and day-to-day operations of Choate Investment Advisors. He is also co-chair of Choate’s wealth management team of trustees, lawyers, tax preparers, and trusts and estates administrators, where he helps to ensure the coordinated delivery of best-in-class integrated family office services to wealthy families and individuals – to help them grow and protect their assets across multiple generations.
Previously, Lanny spent over 18 years at Century Capital Management LLC where he served as Managing Partner and CEO, along with Chairman of the Century Funds. Prior to joining Choate, Lanny served as Managing Director of Congress Asset Management and a Portfolio Manager on the firm’s Small Cap Growth, SMid Growth, and Large Cap Growth Investment Committees. He was also a member of the firm’s Management Committee.
