Danielle Pelot to Moderate Health Equity Panel at Ethics and Compliance Congress

Danielle Pelot will moderate the panel "Health Equity Initiatives - Compliance Considerations at the 25th Annual Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Ethics and Compliance Congress" on Monday, October 28th at 9:00 a.m.

The panel will discuss compliance risks and considerations related to industry trends in addressing health equity and social determinants of health (SDOH) and highlight recent health equity initiatives and challenges observed in industry. In addition, the panel will review OIG Advisory Opinion No. 22-19 as an example of a manufacturer’s Proposed Arrangement incorporating health equity/Department of Health factors and how HHS-OIG evaluated the relevant legal issues.
