Eric Marandett Moderates at PLI 2024 Depositions Conference

Eric Marandett will moderate the panel, "Strategies for Handling Virtual Depositions," at the Practising Law Institute's Fundamentals of Taking and Defending Depositions Conference on Thursday, February 29th at 2:30 p.m.

The panel will discuss:

• What remote depositions look like and how they are different from in-person depositions.
• Selecting a vendor and how the remote deposition platforms work, including breakout rooms, chats, screen sharing, displaying exhibits, and technological concerns.
• Developing a remote deposition protocol, including proper notification, local and federal rules, preparation strategies, and best practices to ensure a smooth remote deposition.
