Michael Shinall to Moderate a Panel at the 2022 PTAB Bar Association Thought Leader Summit

Michael Shinall, a principal in the Life Sciences & Technology and Complex Investigations & Litigation groups, will moderate a panel at the PTAB Bar Association Thought Leader Summit on November 9, 2022 from 2:00pm-5:00pm at the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, Virginia.

The 2022 Thought Leader Summit includes panel discussions focusing on strategies after denial of institution or a final written decision, and lively round table discussions with APJs to discuss Director Vidal’s decisions and guidance since becoming the Director, post-grant and litigation coordination strategies and pitfalls, motions to amend, ways to handle applicant admitted prior art, strategies surrounding sur-replies and new exhibits, as well as other timely topics.
