Choate represented Star Mountain Capital, as Administrative Agent, Avante Capital Partners, Maranon Capital and Gemini Investors in a $27M Term Loan and $17M Series A Preferred Equity investment to Uncle John’s Pride, LLC, a leading Southeastern meat manufacturer specializing in smoked sausage. Proceeds from the loan were used to acquire Texas-based and family-owned sausage manufacturer Zummo Meat Company, LLC.
