Vidia Equity Closes Oversubscribed €415M Climate Fund I

Choate represented Vidia Equity, a Munich-based investor in industrial decarbonization climate solutions, in the formation of its oversubscribed €415M Vidia Climate Fund I. Vidia was established to identify and scale industrial climate solutions with an operational approach, addressing the urgent need for decarbonization within Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and beyond. Vidia’s Fund I will target positive climate impact and financial returns by investing in mid-market solutions within three key climate areas: industrial materials, electrification, and circular economy.

Fund I received strong interest from investors globally and has already completed two investments in BPM, a leading German mechanical recycling specialist, and Wierig Group, a leading player for large industrial flat roof refurbishments and solar installation.
