Citizens Bank Makes $150 Million Loan to Steve Madden

Choate represented Citizens Bank, N.A., as Agent, in connection with a $150,000,000 senior secured loan to Steven Madden and various of its subsidiaries. Steve Madden designs and markets shoes and fashion accessories and has over 250 retail stores in over 65 countries. The proceeds of the loan will be used for general corporate purposes as Madden, like many other consumer-related companies, attempt to weather the COVID-19 storm.
