Jessica Lambert and Lanny Thorndike named co-chairs of Wealth Management

Jessica and Lanny join Brian Monnich leading Choate’s Wealth Management practice to oversee the group’s growth strategy, client experience, and talent development initiatives.

Jessica provides comprehensive and personalized estate planning advice to high net worth individuals and families, with an emphasis on sophisticated wealth transfer strategies to minimize estate, gift, and generation skipping transfer taxes. She works closely with multiple generations of families on all aspects of wealth management, ranging from basic estate planning such as wills, durable powers of attorney, and health care proxies to sophisticated strategies for lifetime asset transfers, including grantor retained annuity trusts (GRATs), family limited partnerships, income tax advantaged grantor trusts, and qualified personal residence trusts (QPRTs).

As president of Choate Investment Advisors, Lanny oversees the investment strategy and day-to-day operations of Choate Investment Advisors. Working closely with Choate’s wealth management team of trustees, lawyers, tax preparers, and trusts and estates administrators, Lanny helps to ensure the coordinated delivery of best-in-class integrated family office services to wealthy families and individuals – to help them grow and protect their assets across multiple generations.
